The Gerrards Cross Neighbourhood Plan is supported by a range of research and studies which provide the evidence base for our Plan. This evidence base will be used to support the decisions made and the policies we have developed in this Neighbourhood Plan. The Gerrards Cross Neighbourhood Plan includes policies to shape local development to:
- retain and promote commercial and employment uses
- allocate a site for housing
- influence housing design
- influence housing mix
- prioritise brownfield land and retain existing buildings
- influence parking provision
- improve pedestrian access and walkway routes
- introduce a settlement boundary
- designate local green spaces
- retain and protect green infrastructure
- protect the historic environment
- designate a strategic gap
